Hey Elwood!
Yeah, Spell-check would be great. Normally when I post, I copy my entire post, paste it to MSword, spell-check it there, then copy it again, and then paste it back into this forum before I submit.

It would be pretty much the same way for bringing a Word document into the forum, except that you would have to paste it into the body of your post. That might be the easiest for the people that don't have an MSword reader. The only other way that I know of would be to post the document on another place on the Web, then link over to the document and place the link in your post. That is the same way for pictures.

If I can help with more details, PM me.

Mick

Hi Mick;

This message was ment for our WEB Master.

But thanks for your reply and offer of help. I'm still learning how to use this internet stuff. Maybe this is not the time and place to learn internet skills but before we can exchange opinions and information we must learn to use this site.

Copy, post, spell-check, ms word, paste, web, link, Good Lord; all I want is a spell-check; which normally is provided on most forums.

We should be able to spell-check our work on short, quick posts & replys.

I first type Long, complex documents or letters on MS Word; but how do I paste them into this forum? I see no opportunity to attach or paste when replying to a post on this forum.

It would be nice to have spell check built into the forum software, but this package does not have it Elwood.

To answer your question, after typing a comment / reply in Word using it's spell check, open (or already have open) the forum to which you are responding, click the reply button or quote, and this is the important part or where it would appear you are having problems:

In Word, left button drag your mouse to highlight all the text of your reply, once highlighted, release the left button. Now, RIGHT click on the highlighted text and left select COPY and your text is copied to the clipboard (an internal section of memory in Windows).

NOW, in the forum software you should have opened the reply window and right click and select PASTE. That should do it, let me know if you have further questions Elwood.
